BRM scores communicate a brand or retailer’s social and environmental impacts – from supply chain performance to company operations and logistics. BRM scores identify hotspots for sustainability improvements. The BRM features section scores and life cycle assessment scores.
The BRM assesses up to five sections of your company (depending on applicability to your company): management systems, brand, retailer, stores, and operations and logistics. Each section features an Environment Score and a Social Score. The BRM also provides a total Environment Score out of a possible 100%, and a total Social Score out of a possible 100%.
Life Cycle Assessment Scores
The BRM also provides a score for each applicable life cycle stage your company manages: distribution centers, management systems, offices, packaging, product, stores, supply chain – products, transportation, use, and end of use. Learn more about BRM scoring here.
BRM verification ensures brand and retailer data captured on the Higg platform can be trusted by external stakeholders. The Higg BRM verification program is expected to launch in May 2021.
Consumers and stakeholders want to support brands with strong social and environmental sustainability values and practices.
